I have a few extensions that I'm using. To get more extensions, go to the chrome web store.

LocalLinks

If you want to have a link to the local hard drive, in the form

<a href="file:///N:/DEPT%20ENGINEERING/Compliance/900/datasheet123.pdf">datasheet123.pdf</a>

Explorer and Firefox will allow you to link to it, but Chrome will not. However, if you install this extension, than you can link to local files using Chrome also.

Allows you to get permanent URL's for your digikey searches, to send to other people, or to bookmark.
